POSITION INFO:
A wellâestablished organization operating in a complex, growthâfocused environment, based in Durban, is seeking a finance professional to lead the finance function at executive level. This role is responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring strong governance, and partnering closely with senior leadership to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

The position suits a handsâon yet strategic finance leader who is comfortable balancing boardâlevel reporting with operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide executive leadership of the full finance function, ensuring financial integrity and governance.
Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
Oversee annual financial statements, audits, and statutory compliance (IFRS).
Manage cash flow, funding structures, and capital allocation.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
Engage with external stakeholders, including auditors, financiers, and regulators.
Strengthen risk management, controls, and financial reporting frameworks.
Lead, mentor, and develop the senior finance team.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA) qualification (essential).
Significant seniorâlevel finance experience, operating in a CFO or Finance Executive capacity.
Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven IFRS expertise.
Demonstrated ability to operate at executive and board level.
Strategic, commercially minded, and confident decisionâmaker.
Experience in complex, operational, or multiâentity environments would be advantageous.
