Duties:

Lead and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal controls.
Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting processes.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom or BCom Honours in Accounting or equivalent.
Professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA) preferred.
Knowledge of IFRS and tax legislation.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Experience in managing teams and leading process improvements.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and team management skills.850
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Sage, Oracle).
Ability to work under pressure and deliver to strict deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
