POSITION INFO:
Our client is a highly reputable, long-standing South African manufacturing and distribution business specializing in workwear and apparel solutions. Operating for over three decades, they pride themselves on family values, operational excellence, and strong market presence. As the Financial Manager, you will take ownership of the full financial function for one core company while oversight and statutory reporting extend to an additional entity. This is an hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys a varied portfolio, from high-level audit preparation down to daily operational financial control, while leading a small administrative team. Responsibilities: Manage the full financial function for the primary operating company. Accurately prepare and submit VAT and PAYE returns for two companies. Oversee and mentor the debtors and creditors clerks, as well as general administrative staff. Implement and manage strict controls over stock and inventory management. Prepare comprehensive files and documentation for annual financial audits. Assist with the compilation and processing of cross-border documentation. Load, release, and manage all payments for final director authorization. Requirements: Proven experience in a senior financial role or as a Financial Manager Previous experience within the clothing, textile, or manufacturing industries is highly advantageous. Strong working knowledge of South African tax compliance (VAT, PAYE). Demonstrated experience in stock control management and audit preparation. Experience or familiarity with cross-border trade documentation. Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, or Accounting. (CIMA preferred) Remuneration: R50 000 - R70 000 CTC dependent on experience ***Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted***
