Finance Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established and respected organisation with a strong presence in the healthcare sector, is seeking a technically strong Financial Manager to join their finance team in Pretoria East. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified CA(SA) looking to build on their commercial experience within a stable and professionally driven environment.

If you are a CA(SA) with at least 2 years’ commercial experience and have a strong technical foundation in IFRS, statutory accounting, and financial reporting, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes while working closely with senior stakeholders.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial reporting and statutory accounting requirements. Prepare and review accurate monthly and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant statutory requirements. Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Support the preparation of consolidated financial information. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on financial reporting matters. Support external audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit queries. Strengthen financial controls and identify opportunities to improve reporting processes. Provide meaningful financial insights to support business decision-making. Qualifications & Experience: CA(SA) qualification is essential. Minimum 2 years' commercial experience is required. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS is essential. Strong statutory accounting and financial reporting experience. Experience with consolidations will be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and commercially focused environment.
