FINANCIAL MANAGER (CA(SA) / ACCA / CIMA)
Location: Centurion
Salary: R1.1m – R1.3m CTC per annum

POSITION INFO:
Main Things You’ll Do:
Keep track of income from bank interest and investments
Help plan the budget and check how the company is doing each month
Check and approve reports that go to bosses and auditors
Make sure taxes, accounts, and payments are done right and on time
Help with audits by preparing documents and answering questions
Sit on the procurement team (people who buy things for the company)
Look after the company’s home loan system
Be a good team leader — guide, train, and motivate the finance team

1. Fund Sustainability

• Oversee income from trust interest and investments.
• Collaborate with the Interest Collection Manager on controls and protocols.
• Approve monthly entries, monitor bank payments, and analyze trends for budgeting.
• Reconcile investment reports with accounting records.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and target-setting processes across units.
• Present budgets and financial performance reports to executives.
• Provide meaningful financial insights and support business performance improvements.

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, forecast, and audit reporting.
• Review key financial schedules, tax submissions, and account entries.
• Oversee the chart of accounts, authorize payments, and supervise the finance team.

• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely preparation of audit packs.
• Guide audit teams and assist with year-end financial statements.

• Ensure adherence to fund policies and participate in relevant committees.

• Serve on the Procurement Committee and align activities with supply chain policies.
• Review supplier performance and recommend policy improvements.

• Manage home loan processes, ensure compliance with tax and credit laws, and validate payroll deductions.

1. A university degree in accounting
2. A qualification like CA, ACCA, or CIMA is a big plus
3. At least 3 to 5 years working in finance
4. Experience managing a team
