SUMMARY:
DUR000038 – Finance Manager – Durban North

Purpose of the Job:
To effectively manage, monitor, protect & improve the organization's finances.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or CA (SA)/CIMA
Minimum 2- 3 years of experience in a senior role within a corporate environment.
BI/Data Analytics experience is preferred.

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Cash Flow Management, oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
Cost Management, Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures.
Risk Management, Assess and manage financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
External Audits, manage and coordinate external audits to ensure timely and efficient audits.
Accounts Management, oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
Team Leadership, Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support.
Cost Management
Risk Management

Behavioural Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
