POSITION INFO:
Professionals we partner with typically demonstrate strength across the following areas:
Financial Management & Reporting

Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
Oversight of financial reporting in line with IFRS
Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Delivery of accurate, decision-useful financial insights to senior management

Controls, Governance & Risk

Strong internal control environments and process discipline
Oversight of reconciliations, balance sheet integrity, and audit readiness
Engagement with internal and external auditors
Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services

Liquidity, Capital & Cash Flow

Cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
Capital allocation support and balance sheet optimisation
Monitoring and reporting on key financial risk areas

Stakeholder & Business Partnering

Acting as a finance business partner to operational and executive stakeholders
Translating financial information into commercial insight
Supporting strategic initiatives and change projects

Leadership & Team Development

Managing, mentoring, and developing finance teams
Driving accountability, delivery, and continuous improvement
Building strong, collaborative finance functions

Ideal Background

CA(SA) qualification
Experience as a Financial Manager within financial services
Strong technical foundation with a commercial mindset
Comfortable operating in regulated, deadline-driven environments
Proven ability to add value beyond the numbers
