Finance Manager (Half Day Position)

POSITION INFO:
This role leverages the current Operating Model to achieve efficiencies, with a focus on people, processes and business management. As the Finance Manager you would be required to present complex data in a way that others can understand, and take responsibility for a range of accounting duties while maintaining high-quality accountancy practices and working procedures, coupled with financial stability and helping to drive the company forward.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
• Manage budgets and prepare forecasting reports
• Analyse financial reports and present findings to the exco team and board
• Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs
• Analyse market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities
• Identify risks, propose solutions and manage stakeholder expectations
• Research and report on business performance influences
• Prepare and present statutory accounts – Including monthly, half year and year close
• Management and submissions of all taxes, VAT and HMRC across South Africa and United Kingdom
• Manage the purchase and sales ledger
• Preparation of asset lists and management of such
• Responsibility for accounts receivable and payable ledgers
• Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting entries
• Preparation and delivery of management accounts and solvency
• Maintain and supervise the human resource processes such as Payroll, Payment releases, employment PAYE
• Work closely with Operations Director to strategically manage financial KPI’s and targets
• Client debtors and creditors: Management of Age Analysis with Operations

• BCom Accounting degree
• 5 Years' experience on a management level
• Numeracy and technical skills
• Proficient IT skills
