SUMMARY:
Provide financial advice and support to the Financial Director

POSITION INFO:

KPA / Main Outputs and Responsibilities for this Position

Provide financial advice and support to the Financial Director

Funding, revenue, and income generating strategies.
Cost reduction strategies.
Tax planning and tax structuring.
Internal control systems etc.
Support the Financial Director in overseeing, monitoring and the
evaluation of:
Group financial performance.
Investments, acquisitions, and disposals.
Group financial compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Assist the Finance Director in overseeing the financial operations of the company and developing financial strategy.
Keep abreast of issues and changes in the finance industry that are relevant to the company.

Manage the financial operations

Monitor the company’s compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and plan the company audits.
Liaise with auditors on audit related matters.
Managing accounts payable and fixed assets.
Overseeing day-to-day accounting and month end routines.

Reporting and record keeping

Preparing and presenting reports on the company''s financial performance to senior management.
Developing and implementing systems and controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Managing the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting process.
Preparing and submitting regulatory reports.

Management of Resources

Determine the company’s priorities and ensure affective allocation of resources to these priorities.
Manage human, physical and financial resources in line with the company policies, processes and procedures.
Develop efficiency measures to ensure optimum capacity utilization and performance
