JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with Retail industry experience to fill the role of Financial Analyst.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:

Our client is a listed concern with operations across South Africa. They operate within the Consumer Goods space, and they currently have a vacancy for a Financial Analyst to join their team. The successful incumbent for this role will be a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with 3-5 years’ post articles experience, ideally within the Retail, FMCG or similar industry sector.

Duties include but not limited to:

Commercial & Operational Finance reporting
Management reporting packs
Budget & Forecast preparation
CAPEX reporting
Profit & Loss reporting
Financial analysis
Supervision of Balance Sheet recons
Month-end close for cost centres
Intercompany reporting
JSE control testing
Stakeholder engagement
Risk management

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required: Non-Negotiable

Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) registered with SAICA
Minimum of 3-5 years’ post articles experience ideally within the Retail, FMCG or similar industry sector
Experience within a listed environment is highly advantageous
