Our client, a powerhouse in the mining equipment services industry, is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-driven Financial Accountant to join their high-performing team in Centurion. As the Financial Accountant, you will be entrusted with the full accounting function, ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and insights that support strategic decisions. Duties include

Managing the full accounting function
Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
Performing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accuracy
Assisting with budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
Ensuring compliance with VAT, tax and statutory requirements
Supporting year-end audits and liaising with auditors

Job Experience and Skills Required

Qualifications

BCom Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification

Experience

A minimum of two to four years post-articles commercial experience in an Accountant role
Solid exposure to reporting, reconciliations and compliance in a fast-paced industry environment
Strong Excel and ERP system skills will be highly advantageous
