POSITION INFO:
Our client, a JSE listed powerhouse in the retail/distribution space, is on the hunt for a dynamic Financial Accountant to join their high-performance finance division. This is more than just a month-end role - this is where strategic finance meets operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the full financial accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting
Preparation and review of monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and Board packs
Group consolidations and inter-company reconciliations
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
IFRS compliance and continuous alignment with regulatory requirements

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Qualified Chartered Accountant
1 to 3 years post-articles experience within the full financial function
Exposure within a retail, distribution, FMCG, or similar fast-paced industry is highly advantageous
