POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full accounting function, including general ledger, journals, and reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain and manage the fixed asset register and capital expenditure tracking
Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to operational stakeholders
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls
Assist with statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and governance

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education & Professional Qualification:

BCom Accounting
CIMA or ACCA qualification is essential

Experience:

Proven experience as a Financial Accountant
Experience within industrial, manufacturing, or mining environments advantageous
Strong exposure to full-function accounting and reporting

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards
ERP system experience (SAP advantageous)
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
Strong analytical and reconciliation expertise
