SUMMARY:
We are looking for highly qualified Financial Accountants with a BCom Accounting or BCom Accounting Honours degree and completed SAICA or SAIPA articles. These candidates must have solid post-articles commercial experience, technical expertise in preparing full annual financial statements (AFS), managing VAT and tax, handling journals and reconciliations.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Preparation of AFS
Full balance sheet (B/S) management and reconciliations
Income statement (I/S) and profit & loss (P&L) preparation
Cash flow statement preparation
VAT and tax calculations and submissions
Journals and general ledger reconciliations
Asset register management
Compilation of audit packs
Liaising directly with external auditors
Reporting to external stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS, and SOX)

Qualifications & Skills:

BCom Accounting required
BCom Accounting Honours advantageous
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
Strong technical accounting ability
Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Post-articles commercial experience highly advantageous
