Are you an experienced Financial Manager ready to take ownership of the full finance function within a well-established organisation?

POSITION INFO:
A reputable and well-established organisation is seeking to appoint a seasoned Financial Manager to lead their finance function based in Parktown, Johannesburg. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the finance department within a stable and structured environment.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a BCom-qualified professional, with 7+ years’ experience, who thrives in a hands-on, operational role and is confident managing the full finance function. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.

The appointed individual will work closely with senior leadership, delivering accurate financial insights while maintaining strong financial controls and improving processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full finance function, including reporting and compliance
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial statements
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements
Maintain and strengthen financial controls and processes
Manage cash flow and working capital
Liaise with auditors and support audit processes
Provide strategic financial input to senior management

Job Experience & Qualifications:

BCom degree (minimum requirement)
7+ years’ relevant finance experience
Proven experience managing the full finance function
Strong financial reporting and compliance experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
