SUMMARY:
A wellâestablished agricultural business is seeking a Financial Accountant to support its finance function within a productionâdriven, operational environment.

POSITION INFO:
The role forms part of a longâstanding operation with deep ties to South Africa’s farming and animal nutrition sector. Operating in a marginâsensitive industry, the business places a strong emphasis on financial accuracy, commercial awareness, and disciplined control to support dayâtoâday operations.

This opportunity offers exposure to a handsâon finance role within an organisation grounded in practical decisionâmaking and the realities of agricultural production.

Duties

Support the key financial decisionâmaker in managing the finance function
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Assist with budgets, forecasts and cash flow
Perform costing and margin analysis for feed, raw materials and logistics
Ensure statutory, IFRS and audit compliance
Manage working capital, including stock, debtors and creditors
Provide commercial insights to operational teams
Assist with group reporting and finance projects

Skills & Experience:

Newly qualified CA(SA) (Essential)
Audit clients within withing the Agri / FMCG industry
