SUMMARY:
Our client, a fast-growing and performance-driven organisation within the logistics and supply chain sector, is seeking a confident and hands-on Financial Accountant to join their high-energy finance team. POSITION INFO:
If you are a go-getter with strong financial accounting ability and the confidence to operate in a demanding commercial environment, this role offers excellent exposure to the full finance function while working closely with operational and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the full finance function within the business.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Ensure accurate reconciliations and maintenance of financial records.
Support month-end and year-end reporting requirements.
Assist with financial planning and operational finance support.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Work closely with operational teams to improve efficiencies and reporting processes.
Assist with cash flow management and financial analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

BCom Accounting or Financial Management degree is essential.
Completed SAICA articles is required.
Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ post-articles experience required.
Previous exposure within the logistics or supply chain industry is highly advantageous.
Strong experience with the full finance function and budgeting & forecasting processes.
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
Confident, proactive, and driven personality.
Ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
