POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description Our client is a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in financial reporting, management accounts preparation, budgeting activities, and maintaining financial controls across the business. This position offers broad exposure to the finance function and will suit an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records Support month-end and year-end reporting processes Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures Provide financial insights to support business decision-making Assist with process improvements and finance-related projects Liaise with internal stakeholders to support operational requirements Job Experience and Skills Required Qualification: BCom Accounting or equivalent accounting qualification AGA(SA) or PA(SA) highly advantageous Completed articles advantageous Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial accounting environment Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports Exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time-management abilities Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Commercially minded with a proactive approach Apply Now!
