Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare journals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Monitor inventory, cost of sales, and manufacturing-related financial activity. Support audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure accurate financial records. Work closely with operational and commercial teams to provide meaningful financial insight. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls, and financial processes. Job Experience and Skills Required BCom degree in Accounting. 2-3 years' post-articles experience in financial accounting. Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or a product-based environment will be advantageous. Strong knowledge of month-end reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and variance analysis. Experience with inventory and cost accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Confident communicator who can work well with multiple stakeholders. Proactive, commercially minded, and eager to add value in a fast-moving environment. Experience analysing variances and preparing monthly reporting packs within agreed deadlines. Proven ability to produce accurate reconciliations and support month-end close processes. Experience working with cross-functional teams to resolve finance-related queries. Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and cost management in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
