POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: Mining is a business of constant movement, significant investment, and decisions that can have a serious impact on the bottom line. This PTA West opportunity offers a Financial Accountant the chance to work close to those decisions, gaining valuable exposure to the financial side of a complex mining operation. Â You'll be part of a finance environment where accuracy matters, but so does understanding the bigger picture. If you enjoy getting into the detail while keeping sight of commercial performance, this could be a strong next step. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of core monthly accounting activities and financial reporting Maintain accurate reconciliations, journals, and general ledger records Investigate financial movements and provide analysis on key variances Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes Support audit requirements, annual financial statements, and statutory reporting Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential) Minimum 3 years' experience in a Financial Accountant role Mining industry experience (essential) Strong ERP systems exposure and advanced Microsoft Excel skills Â Apply now!
