Candidates who direct the monthly accounting cycle by processing complex adjusting journals (depreciation, provisions, and accruals) while supervising intricate intercompany, bank, and sub-ledger reconciliations. Candidates who formulate and manage timeous VAT and corporate tax submissions in strict alignment with SARS regulations, while skillfully handling deferred tax calculations. Candidates who can prepare high-level financial packs for investors, banking institutions, and regulators, while acting as the primary liaison for external auditors to ensure seamless compliance. Candidates who enforce absolute compliance under strict global and local accounting benchmarks (IFRS, GAAP, or SOX regulations) while managing fixed asset registers and rigorous impairment testing. Job Experience and Skills Required: A completed BCom Accounting degree is the minimum requirement; a BCom Honours degree is highly preferred. A CA(SA) designation is considered a powerful professional advantage. Completed SAICA articles (with strong exposure to external audits and IFRS) or completed SAIPA articles (with a hands-on mastery of bookkeeping, financial statements, and tax). Proven post-articles commercial or corporate industry experience, demonstrating a successful transition from public practice into a fast-paced commercial environment. High proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and established ERP systems, alongside occasional exposure to operational finance, system rollouts, or reporting pack implementations. Why connect now?
