POSITION INFO:
Our client, a fast-growing FMCG and retail organisation based in Centurion, is looking for a Finance & Operations Manager to play a key role in supporting business growth and operational excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the business, combining financial analysis with operational oversight, process improvement, and technology-driven initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the full Order-to-Purchase (O2P) process Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships Monitor inventory levels and strengthen stock control processes Oversee warehouse operations, controls, and quality standards Analyse sales performance and identify key business trends Develop insightful operational and commercial reports Support process optimisation and operational efficiency initiatives Assist with systems enhancements, automation projects, and digital transformation efforts Translate business data into actionable recommendations Collaborate with operational teams to improve profitability and performance Contribute to strategic decision-making through data-driven insights Minimum Requirements BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field Minimum of 3 years' experience within a Finance & Operations, Commercial Finance, Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar role Experience within FMCG, retail, wholesale, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies Exposure to systems implementation, automation initiatives, or digital transformation projects advantageous Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels The Ideal Candidate You will likely thrive in this environment if you: Enjoy understanding how businesses operate beyond the numbers Have a natural curiosity for improving processes and efficiencies Are comfortable working across departments and building relationships Can convert complex data into practical business insights Enjoy balancing analysis with hands-on operational involvement See challenges as opportunities to create better ways of working Have a commercial mindset and a passion for continuous improvement Why Consider This Opportunity?
