• CFA Charter Holder

Job Description

• Financial modelling: preparing, running scenarios, and advising on outcomes
• Transaction structuring
• Project due diligence (technical, environmental, legal, tax and financial)
• Preparing and submitting renewable energy tender submissions with a focus on the finance sections (e.g. REIPPPP in South Africa)
• Preparing investment committee submissions and materials
• Preparing banker project teasers and project information memoranda
• Preparing investment summaries and rationale on energy markets in various African countries
• Performing credit reviews on corporate power purchasers
• Preparing and modelling off-taker demand curves to calculate optimal system sizing and cost savings for C&I projects
• Scoping and soliciting independent tax advice for financial modelling purposes
• Commercial and legal contract negotiation, including working with third party major law firms as advisors
• Business strategy
• Business development
