Financial Analyst

SUMMARY:
A reputable cosmetics entity is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This position will be based in Johannesburg North and is a 12-month fixed term position.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of data in order to provide reports and presentations to facilitate decision making by management, as well as assisting the Finance Executive in reviewing financial information and implementing internal business processes having financial effects.

Duties included, but not limited to:

• Financial analysis
• Review of the performance against budget, performing productivity and profitability analysis and creating reporting on various axes of analysis as required by the business
• Assisting in review of monthly trial balance, including assisting in preparation of accruals and provisions
• Assisting in preparation and submission of monthly finance reports to the headquarter
• Formulating standard and ad-hoc reports, templates and dashboards to form part of monthly management reporting
• ROI calculations
• Developing processes and tools to aid in budget and forecast monitoring
• Assist with preparation of budgets, analysing variances and building monitoring templates and tools

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in an analytical role such as a Financial Analyst or Business Analyst
• Experience in the cosmetics industry would be highly advantageous

• B. Com in Financial Management
