The Financial Analyst should have an in-depth understanding of the physical drivers of the manufacturing cost items and performing detailed analysis.

A reputable concern in the automotive industry is looking for a finance profession who has strong analytical, communication and presentation skills to join their team as a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst should have an in-depth understanding of the physical drivers of the manufacturing cost items and performing detailed analysis.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial guidance to the operations team to ensure deadlines and financial targets are met. The Financial Analyst will be responsible performing detailed analysis, preparing and presenting information to senior management. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for identifying opportunities to reduce overall costs as well as preparing and reviewing daily/weekly/monthly cost packages and monitoring and reporting on actuals versus authorized.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• BCom Honors in Accounting/Financial Accounting/Management Accounting

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing finance role
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a plant
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound judgement and decision making
• Be able to present to senior management
• Deadline driven
• People management and leadership skills
• Self-starter and team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
