JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the banking industry has an opportunity available for a Financial Analyst to be based in the Midrand area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

BSc / BCom strong focus on Statistics III or Mathematics III or Actuarial
3 year experience in Credit Analysis, Financial Analysis in the financial sector - 1 years Financial Modelling, Impairments
Software: MS Office, with Advanced Excel skills, SQL, SAS, JMP

KPAs:

Conceptualise, build and implement new impairment models
Conceptualise, build and implement loan level provisions
Guide Collections in possible collections opportunities
Maintaining IAS39 standards and methodology
Develop and maintain a reporting framework
Assist in developing junior team members into competent analysts
Create and maintain productive relationships with internal and external clients by providing advice and assistance
