SUMMARY:
Job description The Purpose of the Job is to maintain acceptable standards of Finance and Accounts Payable execution, managing cash and bank balance with integrity.

POSITION INFO:

Key Aspects

Accounts Payable Coordination
Reporting AP: Weekly and Monthly Suppliers Recons
Reporting Stocks: Clearing Inventory Suspense Account and Direct Purchase Orders
Report weekly on the processing and clearing of the consignment stocks
General Ledger
General Functions

Minimum requirements
Education

Degree in Economics, Accountancy or similar discipline or 5 years'' experience in a similar role

Experience

5 years ''experience in a similar role, can be less depending on exposure levels

Skills / Competencies

Computer Skills - Excel
ERP operational skills ( JD Edwards)
Ability to use report extraction tools ( Hubble)
Supplier Payment Process
Basic understanding of OHADA and DRC tax framework
Integrity
Ability to analyse data
Reliability and attention to detail
Good communication skills both in English and French
Experience supervising staff members
Mining industry experience
Ability to work with minimum supervision and prioritise workload
Work under pressure
Decision- making skills
Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
Pro-activity
