SUMMARY:
Job description The Purpose of the Job is to maintain acceptable standards of Finance and Accounts Payable execution, managing cash and bank balance with integrity.

POSITION INFO:

Key Aspects

• Accounts Payable Coordination
• Reporting AP: Weekly and Monthly Suppliers Recons
• Reporting Stocks: Clearing Inventory Suspense Account and Direct Purchase Orders
• Report weekly on the processing and clearing of the consignment stocks
• General Ledger
• General Functions

Minimum requirements
Education

• Degree in Economics, Accountancy or similar discipline or 5 years'' experience in a similar role

Experience

• 5 years ''experience in a similar role, can be less depending on exposure levels

Skills / Competencies

• Computer Skills - Excel
• ERP operational skills ( JD Edwards)
• Ability to use report extraction tools ( Hubble)
• Supplier Payment Process
• Basic understanding of OHADA and DRC tax framework
• Integrity
• Ability to analyse data
• Reliability and attention to detail
• Good communication skills both in English and French
• Experience supervising staff members
• Mining industry experience
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and prioritise workload
• Work under pressure
• Decision- making skills
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Pro-activity
