Financial Business Analyst

SUMMARY:
A leading trusted partner in software and digital with the focus being customise solutions basing their current needs and ambitions is in search for a Financial Business Analyst. Purpose of this role candidate will be responsible for the management accounting and reporting function for some legal entities in the Group including offshore entities. Responsibilities include the preparation of annual financial statements and management accounts, interpreting financial results, monitoring cash flows and capital expenditure, and ensuring compliance with group policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• B.com degree in accounting
• CA(SA) Non negotiable

• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions and functions and Microsoft Office Suit of product. Microsoft Navision will be an advantage.
• 2 -3 years relevant work experience.
• Consolidation and tax
• Lots of Reporting
• Good business acumen, strong analytical and data gathering skills and coordination of people and resources.

• Preparation and review of individual and consolidated monthly management accounts
• Reporting to the different stakeholders
• Compilation of reports to the bankers, including covenant monitoring
• Compilation of reports to the board and shareholders as required.
• Monitoring of internal control policies and procedures
• Calculating and reporting on key financial metrics
• Preparation and consolidation of budgets and forecasts
• Preparation of the provisional tax returns, final tax returns and other taxes as required for the South African based companies within the company in conjunction with the tax advisors.
• Review of payments
• Balancing of intercompany loan accounts
• Assisting the Group Financial manager with the preparation of the AFS
• Assist the Group Financial Manager as and when required.
• Ability to secure relevant information and identifying key issues and relationships from a base of information, relating, and comparing data from different sources.
