SUMMARY:
A prominent organisation based in the heart of Melrose Arch is seeking an experienced Financial Controller (CA(SA)) to join their finance team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is suited to an immediately available individual with experience from a Big 5 audit firm (BDO, SNG, etc.). The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical accounting expertise and the ability to perform a range of financial control functions within a fast-paced corporate environment.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Manage the integrity of financial systems and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Preparation of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reports.
Cash flow management, with a focus on optimizing financial resources.
Support the finance team in decision-making by providing accurate and timely financial data.

Qualifications & Skills:

CA(SA) required
2–4 years of post-article experience in a financial control role, preferably within a Big 5 audit firm.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and management accounting.
Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
Immediate availability is highly preferred.
