Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Reporting Lead and oversee the full finance function across multiple entities within the group. Drive month-end and year-end reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines. Review and approve journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. Prepare and review consolidated financial reports and management accounts. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial information. Treasury, Compliance & Governance Oversee treasury operations, cash flow management, and working capital optimisation. Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, income tax, and statutory reporting requirements. Manage annual audit processes and coordinate the preparation of annual financial statements. Maintain strong financial controls and governance frameworks across the business. Monitor financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Budgeting & Strategic Planning Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Develop board packs, shareholder reports, and executive-level financial presentations. Provide meaningful financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Partner with senior leadership on growth initiatives, investment decisions, and business performance improvement. Process Improvement & Financial Controls Develop, implement, and enhance finance policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks. Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and financial governance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and systems. Strengthen risk management and compliance practices throughout the organisation. Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop Finance Managers, Financial Accountants, and the Creditors team. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support succession planning and professional development within the finance team. Ensure effective workload management and resource allocation across the department. Requirements Qualifications CA(SA) qualification (essential). Experience Minimum 5-7 years' experience leading the full finance function in a Financial Controller or Finance Manager capacity. Proven experience within a complex, multi-entity environment. Property industry experience will be highly advantageous. Strong exposure to consolidations, group reporting, and stakeholder engagement. Technical Skills Proven MDA experience (essential) . Strong knowledge of: IFRS Financial Reporting Governance & Internal Controls VAT & Statutory Compliance Treasury & Cash Flow Management Audit & Regulatory Reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
