POSITION INFO:
Are you a technically strong CA(SA) ready to take ownership of the financial control environment and play a key role in a growing, operationally driven business? Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the mining and manufacturing space, with a strong focus on operational excellence, financial discipline and sustainable growth. They are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller who can bring strong technical accounting knowledge, commercial awareness and a keen eye for financial controls. This role is based in Johannesburg North. As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing key financial control functions, ensuring accurate reporting, strong cash flow management and a robust control environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically astute CA(SA) looking to broaden their exposure and take on greater responsibility within a dynamic business. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the financial control function and ensure accurate and timely reporting Apply strong knowledge of IFRS and taxation across the finance function Manage and monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity requirements. Review and oversee balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Review journals and ensure appropriate supporting documentation and controls are in place Strengthen and maintain effective internal financial controls Job Experience and Skills Required: CA(SA) qualification is essential 2-3 years post-articles experience Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS and Tax Apply now!
