Financial Controller | Up to R600 000 CTC | Pretoria East

Our client is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team, offering an opportunity to take your career to the next level in a hands-on and commercially focused environment.

POSITION INFO:
THE ROLE You'll be responsible for overseeing key financial functions, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and statutory compliance , while providing meaningful financial information to management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts Overseeing and strengthening financial controls and processes Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Managing statutory and regulatory compliance Oversight of payroll and EMP-related submissions Managing tax compliance and submissions Assisting with annual financial statements and audit requirements Monitoring financial processes to ensure compliance with company policies and legislation Providing financial insights and reporting to management Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and efficiencies WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR BCom Accounting \/ Finance or relevant qualification Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles 2-3 years post-articles experience Strong management accounting experience Solid understanding of financial controls Practical knowledge of EMP, payroll and tax compliance Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
