SUMMARY:

A well-established financial services organisation is seeking an Actuarial Pricing Specialist to join its growing actuarial team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to pricing, product development, profitability analysis, and strategic business initiatives within a dynamic insurance environment. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of actuarial, analytical, and business professionals to deliver innovative and commercially sound solutions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Support pricing reviews and product development initiatives Develop, maintain, and enhance actuarial pricing models and frameworks Analyse product performance and identify opportunities for optimisation Collaborate with underwriting, claims, technology, and business stakeholders Assess the viability of new products and assist with product implementation Review data quality and improve reporting processes and controls Investigate trends, variances, and emerging risks Support the design of innovative and sustainable insurance solutions Provide actuarial insights and recommendations to support business decisions Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and risk management requirements Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Actuarial Degree or Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as majors Associate-level actuarial qualification or strong progress towards qualification Experience: 2-4 years' relevant actuarial experience Experience in pricing and actuarial modelling Knowledge of insurance products and regulatory frameworks Experience with data extraction and analysis advantageous Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Advanced Excel skills SQL, Python, and\/or R advantageous Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Apply now!
