We’re looking for a Financial Director in Carletonville (Johannesburg West) who can lay the foundations for long-term success, keep the company’s financial structures sturdy, and ensure that every project is built on solid ground. This isn’t your typical “counting pennies” position; it’s about steering strategy, managing risk, and partnering with the CEO to make sure every decision is built to last.

POSITION INFO:
Financial Director – Construction Industry

What You’ll Be Building (a.k.a. Your Duties):

Drafting and executing financial blueprints.
Overseeing budgets, cost control, and forecasting.
Keeping the cash flow steady.
Structuring and negotiating project financing, loans, and investor arrangements.
Producing accurate financial reporting and insights.
Assessing and mitigating financial risks.
Partnering with project and commercial teams.
Leading and developing your finance team.
Driving system improvements.

What You’ll Need in Your Toolbox:

CA(SA) qualified.
Proven financial leadership experience within the construction industry (hard hat not included).
Sharp understanding of construction project financing, contracts, and compliance.
Leadership skills strong enough to inspire teams and influence the boardroom.
Communication skills that make even the most complex financials sound clear as glass.
