One of my leading global FMCG/services clients has an opportunity for a financial executive with strong business acumen and multinational experience to head up their finance department in South Africa.

My client is a global business that prides themselves in providing diversified and tailor-made services to its clients in Africa, middle east and Europe since their inception nearly a century ago.

They seek to employ a solid Financial Director to lead the finance team in SA who will also be responsible for providing strategic finance direction to the various business units in other Southern African countries.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

ACMA
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role – preferably in the FMCG/services environment – or similar
Strong staff engagement, management and development skills
Strategic and hands on operational experience
Cross-boarder experience
Executive management exposure (Executive committee member)

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting financial results
Strategic management of budgets / forecasts
Conducting risk management
Evaluating and initiating investments
Allocating resources and managing finances
Recommending cost reduction strategies
Variance analyses and reporting
