My client, who is one of the leading global FMCG company, has an opportunity for a seasoned Financial Executive with strong business acumen to head up the finance department of one of their divisions.

My client has been in operation for many decades, and they pride themself in the production and distribution of varied fast moving consumer goods loved and trusted by consumers world-wide. They boast a large local and global presence in the manufacturing of products within the portfolio of edible, home and personal care and continue to take up market share year on year.

They seek to employ a solid Financial Director to lead one of their rapidly growing divisions. The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing strategic finance direction to the division leading a team of more than 10 staff members.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

ACMA/ CA(SA)
Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role – preferably in an FMCG/Retail environment – or similar
Strong staff management
Strategic and operational exposure
Exposure to plant/production environment

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting financial results.
Strategic management of budgets / forecasts.
Conducting risk management.
Evaluating and initiating investments.
Allocating resources and managing finances.
Recommending cost reduction strategies.
