SUMMARY:

DBN000179 – FINANCE DIRECTOR – MAYDON WHARF DBN

Purpose of the job:
To oversee financial planning, reporting, and budgeting in order to maintain the financial health. They also play a crucial role in risk management and cost optimization to support operational efficiency and expansion.

Required Qualifications

CA(SA) with 10+ years’ finance experience, and at least 5 years at senior level.
Strong commercial sense and the ability to work side-by-side with operations.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to make numbers make sense.
Experience in cash flow management, audit, reporting, and banking relationships.
Exposure to logistics environment would be an advantage.

POSITION INFO:
Required Experience & Knowledge:

Strategic Financial Leadership
In charge of Cash Flow & Working Capital
Financial Control & Reporting
Strengthening and expanding finance systems so information flows easily, and teams can make quick, smart decisions.
Working hand-in-hand with commercial and operations teams to create great experiences for customers
Ensuing the business stays resilient against the usual risks - power, currency fluctuations, compliance, operational challenges etc
Getting involved in a range of ad-hoc projects - new facilities, expansions, funding, pricing reviews, M&A assessments.
Compile, deliver, and present clear, easy-to-read management and Board reports.
