POSITION INFO:

Financial Manager | FMCG / Manufacturing | Cape Town

We are currently partnering with multiple established businesses across the FMCG and manufacturing sector in Cape Town, with several urgent Financial Manager opportunities available across both the Northern and Southern Suburbs.
These are fully office-based roles suited to commercially strong finance professionals who already have solid experience operating in fast-paced commercial environments.
We are specifically looking for candidates with approximately 3–5 years of commercial experience post-articles who are ready to step into impactful Financial Manager positions where they can add value from day one.

Key experience we are looking for:

Budgeting and forecasting
Financial reporting
Consolidations
Commercial finance exposure
Managing finance staff or small-to-medium teams
Operational and business partnering exposure within FMCG or manufacturing

This is not suited to newly qualified candidates with limited commercial exposure. We are looking for professionals who have already transitioned successfully out of audit and built real-world experience within industry.
The ideal candidate will be confident working in high-volume, deadline-driven environments and comfortable engaging with operational stakeholders across the business.

Requirements:

CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent finance qualification advantageous
3–5 years’ commercial finance experience post-articles
FMCG and/or manufacturing experience highly preferred
Strong Excel and reporting capability
Stable career track record
