SUMMARY:
Join a fast-growing, industry-leading energy business that supplies essential products to South Africa’s industrial and production sector. This organisation is rapidly expanding and needs a strong, hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of its robust financial operations across multiple entities.

POSITION INFO:
This established and reputable business has built a solid presence in the energy and industrial supply market, servicing high-volume production environments across the country. Known for its resilience and operational excellence, the company is looking for a Finance Manager who is confident, assertive, and capable of running a tough, fast-paced finance environment while overseeing up to 7 companies simultaneously. The role requires someone with a strong personality who can partner closely with warehouse managers, suppliers, and operational teams while managing the full finance function end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full finance function, including GL, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end across 7 companies
Manage stock, costing, and inventory processes in a high-volume operational environment
Partner with warehouse and production managers to ensure strong financial controls
Handle supplier management, payment cycles, and relationship oversight
Drive financial accuracy, process improvements, and operational efficiency

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom degree with completed articles beneficial
3+ years’ experience in a similar role
Experience within an industrial or production-based environment is essential
Strong exposure to stock, inventory, and operational finance
A strong, confident personality with the ability to hold ground in a demanding environment and manage multiple entities concurrently
