POSITION INFO:
Join a well-established organisation that requires an experienced Finance Manager to provide stability, strengthen controls, and support operational decision-making. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee the finance function and supervise a Debtors & Creditors Clerk while ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and cashflow management.
This role offers exposure across operational finance, compliance, audits, procurement governance and stakeholder engagement ideal for a professional who enjoys both technical accounting and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full general ledger including journals, reconciliations and financial reporting
Prepare trial balances and financial statements (cashflow, balance sheet and income statement)
Oversee payroll controls and statutory compliance (PAYE, UIF, SDL, VAT and tax)
Manage cashflow forecasting and budgeting processes
Supervise debtors and creditors activities and review reconciliations
Maintain asset register and assist with internal and external audits
Support tender pricing, cost monitoring and procurement compliance
Engage with internal stakeholders, suppliers and regulatory bodies

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a professional accounting or finance role
Exposure to full-function accounting and financial reporting
Experience overseeing finance administration staff
Strong compliance and audit exposure
Project accounting exposure advantageous

Skills:

Advanced Microsoft Excel
Xero essential
Knowledge of IFRS / GAAP
