SUMMARY:

Our client, a well-established company within the oil and gas sector, is seeking a dynamic Financial Manager to join their team based close to Johannesburg Central. This is a highly operational role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
This is not a desk-bound, purely reporting-focused position. This role requires a Financial Manager who understands operational finance, works closely with supply chain, procurement, and site operations, can translate financial data into business decisions and is comfortable in a demanding, high-volume industry. If you enjoy being on the ground, involved in the detail, and partnering with operations to improve efficiency and profitability, this is your space.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing full financial management function
Driving budgeting and forecasting processes
Partnering with operations to manage margins and cost efficiencies
Monitoring fuel/product costing and operational expenditure
Managing cash flow and working capital
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal controls

Job Experience and Skills Required:).

Completed Accounting Degree (BCom Accounting or similar)
Minimum 5 years’ working experience in a similar role within oil & gas, petroleum, energy, logistics, or related operational industries
Proven exposure to the operational side of finance
Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and financial performance management
