SUMMARY:
Lead, Mentor, and Deliver – Financial Managers.

POSITION INFO:
In high-performing finance teams, leadership is what turns strong processes into real results. A well-established organisation is looking for a Financial Manager to take ownership of the full finance function while leading and developing a team in a fast-paced environment.

This role sits at the center of the business, combining technical accounting, operational finance, and people leadership. You’ll play a key role in driving financial performance, strengthening processes, and ensuring that the finance team delivers with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the full finance function across the business
Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 7 finance professionals
Overseeing financial reporting, management accounts, and compliance
Driving strong debtor management and cash flow optimisation
Ensuring accurate reconciliations and financial controls
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Maintaining and improving financial systems and processes (Sage 300)
Partnering with stakeholders to support business performance

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA), AGA(SA), or ACCA qualification
5–6 years’ post-articles experience
Proven experience managing the full finance function
Strong leadership and team management experience
Solid experience managing debtors and working capital
Experience with Sage 300
Strong technical accounting and reporting skills

Key Competencies:

Strong leadership with the ability to mentor and develop teams
Hands-on, proactive, and results-driven
Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
