Company and Job Description:
An exciting opportunity is available for a high-calibre Financial Manager to lead the corporate finance function within a well-established group environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys combining strategic reporting, operational finance, compliance, and team leadership.

You will take ownership of the end-to-end accounting process for the corporate division, while partnering closely with executive management on reporting, forecasting, cash flow, funding, and governance matters. The role offers broad exposure across management reporting, treasury, tax, audit, and financial leadership.

This position suits someone who thrives in a structured, high-responsibility environment and enjoys driving continuous improvement across finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounting and reporting function for the Corporate Division
Oversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and monthly journals
Prepare and review management reports, dashboards, and variance analyses
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes
Manage cash flow, liquidity forecasting, and funding requirements
Ensure IFRS compliance and oversee statutory and tax submissions
Lead external audit processes and maintain strong internal controls
Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives within finance
Lead, mentor, and manage the corporate finance team

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

BCom Accounting Degree (essential)
CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification advantageous

Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ management experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a finance team
Experience compiling and analysing management reports
Proven exposure to audits, tax compliance, and governance processes

Skills:

Strong IFRS and statutory reporting knowledge
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
Financial reporting and management accounting
Tax and regulatory compliance
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
