Financial Manager | CA(SA) | Swellendam

Up to R950 000 CTC per annum
Are you a CA(SA) looking to step into a Financial Manager role where you can take real ownership of the finance function within an operationally driven environment?
An established organisation within the agricultural sector is looking for a commercially minded and technically strong Financial Manager to join its Swellendam operation.
This opportunity is ideal for a CA(SA) with 2–3 years' post-article experience who is ready to combine strong technical finance expertise with hands-on operational exposure. Previous experience within agriculture or a related operational industry will be highly advantageous.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the financial management and reporting function. Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports. Manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards. Maintain strong financial controls and governance processes. Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful commercial insight to management. Manage cash flow, working capital and financial planning. Coordinate audit requirements and statutory reporting. Partner with operational stakeholders to improve financial and business performance. Job Experience and Skills Required CA(SA) - essential. 2-3 years' post-article experience. Strong financial reporting and technical accounting expertise. Experience within agriculture or a related operational industry preferred. Strong commercial and analytical ability. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to operate effectively in a hands-on, operational environment. Fluent in both Afrikaans and English. Willing and able to be based in Swellendam, Western Cape .
