POSITION INFO:
These opportunities can offer exposure across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial controls, management reporting and business partnering within professional financial services and insurance environments. Key Responsibilities Depending on the opportunity, typical Financial Manager responsibilities may include: Managing the full finance function and overseeing day-to-day financial activities Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts and financial reporting Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes Overseeing month-end and year-end reporting processes Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with relevant accounting standards Monitoring financial controls and identifying opportunities to improve processes Providing financial analysis and commercial insights to management Managing cash flow, reconciliations and balance sheet reviews Supporting internal and external audit processes Preparing financial information and reports for senior management Managing and developing finance team members Partnering with stakeholders across the business to support informed decision-making Job Experience and Skills Required BCom Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or relevant professional qualification would be advantageous 5+ years' relevant finance experience, depending on level and environment Experience in a Financial Manager or senior finance role Strong financial reporting and management accounting experience Budgeting and forecasting experience Strong knowledge of financial controls and accounting principles Experience within financial services, insurance, investment management or a related environment would be advantageous Advanced Excel and strong financial systems experience Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work with senior stakeholders and provide meaningful financial insight For more exciting Finance vacancies, please visit: If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
