Financial Manager | Up to R 720 000.00 | Midrand

A growing Group is looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Financial Manager to take ownership of the full finance function and play a key role in driving financial performance, governance and strategic decision-making.

POSITION INFO:
ð¼ THE OPPORTUNITY This is more than a month-end role. You'll have exposure across the full financial management cycle , working closely with management and operational teams while leading and developing the finance and administration functions. ð¯ WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR You will take ownership of: - Monthly financial reporting & management accounts - Trial balance review and month-end close - Budgets, forecasts & financial projections - Variance analysis and performance reporting - Balance sheet, creditors & debtors reconciliations - Annual financial statements & external audit management - SARS compliance - VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL & Income Tax - Cash-flow & working capital management - Banking and treasury functions - Financial controls, policies & process improvements - Full payroll oversight - Creditors and debtors management - Finance & administration team leadership - B-BBEE compliance and annual verification - Financial analysis and support to senior management - Supporting strategic business planning and growth initiatives ð¤ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR âï¸ BCom Accounting \/ relevant Accounting degree âï¸ SAICA Articles completed âï¸ 3-5 years post-articles experience âï¸ 1-2 years management \/ team leadership experience âï¸ Strong financial reporting and accounting background âï¸ Solid knowledge of SARS, statutory compliance and governance âï¸ Experience with budgets, forecasts and cash-flow management âï¸ Strong audit and annual financial statement exposure âï¸ Comfortable managing multiple finance functions âï¸ A hands-on leader who takes ownership and drives accountability âï¸ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills âï¸ Commercially minded with the ability to support business decisions If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
