SUMMARY:
International Logistics and Shipping company seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their Durban facility

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Completed Bcom Accounting degree/ Completed CIMA – NON-NEGOTIABLE

Essential that the successful individual comes from a strong shipping background

Strong IFRS and GAAP experience

Minimum 5 years experience as a Financial Manager

Duties:

Preparation and reporting of daily cash flow and bank accounts

Daily payments

Bank reconciliation statements, including for subsidiaries

Cash flow forecasting

Monthly income statements and consolidation reports

Variance analysis

Monthly payroll function and all statutory compliance

Preparation and payment of VAT returns

Forex variations
