JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Importer of goods and reseller retail client is looking for a Financial Manager with 5 years’ experience overseeing the financial departments, payroll, recons, staff processes and shipping financial administration cost.

Financial Qualification a bonus
Bookkeeping to Balance Sheet – PASTEL PARTNER & Nedbank Business Banking
Payroll for 30 Staff Permanents and Wages – SAGE VIP Payroll
Full Statutory Return and Submissions – SARS Efiling
Management Accounts
Manage Cash Flow
Reconcile overseas supplier accounts.

Responsibilities
Bookkeeping to Balance Sheet – Pastel Partner
Full Payroll function and SARS Efiling – SAGE VIP Payroll and SARS efiling
Reconcile and Balance general ledger accounts and cash books monthly.
Report on Month end finances
Manage Bank accounts
Balance Inter Company loan accounts monthly.
Process Weekly and Monthly payments on Nedbank Business Banking
Manage CAPEX
Ensure that all customer accounts reconcile monthly and that all invoices and statements are sent out timeously and that all outstanding invoices are dealt with immediately.
Reconcile overseas supplier accounts and arrange payments.
Ensure that all suppliers account reconcile monthly and that all queries are dealt with so that payments may be made on time.
Preparation of monthly management accounts and meet monthly with Director to discuss.
Prepare for and assist with annual audits.
Prepare and Submit all VAT returns Monthly.
Prepare and Submit all EMP returns Monthly.
Attend to all annual IRP5 reconciliations and submissions to SARS.
Prepare and process salaries monthly, including the calculation of monthly commission pay-outs.
Calculate and pay all weekly wages.
Manage and oversee the Shipping Department – Shipping Costs
