JOB SUMMARY:
Are you a Financial Manager with extensive experience in the Retail or FMCG sector? Are you ready to take on Full Financial Control and manage the finance team whilst reporting to the Finance Lead? JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ensure quality financial transactions, compliance, and financial reporting

Reviews of Income Statement and Balance Sheet items monthly

Provide full sets of management reports

Strategic input of financial results

Analysing various financial results

Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet items annually and monthly

Review payments and reconciliations

Staff management

Control all month end processing & reconciliation procedures

Make sure all daily, weekly, and monthly finance deadlines are met

Control all year end close procedures

Develop business processes and internal controls to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Annual Audit preparations

Annual financial statements

Liaise with banks, auditors, landlords

Cash flow management and forecasts

All taxation calculations and submissions, including deferred Tax

SARS related audits

Stock take procedures and analysing results

Annual budget preparations

Acquisition and due diligence related work

Presentations for directors and shareholders meetings

Maintenance of systems

Any ad hoc duties and projects in Finance Department on daily / weekly / monthly / yearly basis

Skills & Experience:

Sage evolution is beneficial

Experience working in the FMCG or Retail sector

People Management experience

Experience coming from a High Volume Fast paced environment

Qualification:

CA(SA) with minimum 4 years post article experience
