Financial Manager: CA (SA)

SUMMARY:
This role requires a qualified Chartered Accountant with previous managerial experience, who will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity of financial information, contribute to strategic decision-making, and support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports using Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in Xero and CreditEase.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision making.

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of detailed financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget versus actual performance and provide variance analysis.
• Collaborate with department heads to gather necessary inputs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and identify potential cash flow issues.
• Optimize working capital by managing receivables, payables, and inventory levels.

• Identify and implement improvements to manual financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key financial processes.
• Lead initiatives to automate repetitive tasks using Excel macros and other available tools.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of
• financial records.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during

• Manage and maintain financial systems, including Xero and CreditEase.
• Ensure accurate data entry and integration between different financial systems.
• Provide training and support to staff on the use of financial systems and tools.

• Support senior management in developing financial strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
• Conduct financial feasibility studies for new projects and business initiatives.

• CA (SA)

• Accounting Standards and Principles
• In-depth understanding of International Financial Reporting
• Standards (IFRS).
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• (GAAP)
• Proficiency in preparing and analysing financial statements.
• Expertise in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills,
• including the use of pivot tables and complex formulas.
